TRAVEL Rollin’ Thunder Carts will parade through LW July 4
The Rollin’ Thunder Golf Cart Club meeting scheduled for June 24 is cancelled.
The club will meet Friday, July 4, in Clubhouse 3, Room 1, at 11:30 am. Note the date and time change.
The club will provide hamburgers and hot dogs; members will bring side dishes and their own drinks. More food, rather than desserts, would be appreciated.
The Fourth of July parade will follow the meeting at 1 p.m. Be sure to decorate carts before the meeting. The American Legion is having a picnic at Clubhouse 1, so the parade will be sure to go by there.
The route is as follows: Northwood to El Dorado; El Dorado to Oakmont; Oakmont to St. Andrews; St. Andrews to Golden Rain; Golden Rain to Del Monte; right on Del Monte to Burning Tree; Burning Tree to Golden Rain; to Clubhouse 5 Café.
The July 22,, Aug. 26 and Sept. 23 meetings will be held in the picnic grounds at Clubhouse 1, not in Clubhouse 3.
